[Harp-L] The Harmonica Jazz Trio

Yes yes yes, it was in Chicago and Johnny, Bob and Al were amazing together.

In 1992, I was just becoming aware of the harmonica community, but was only focused and interested in diatonic harmonica. Hearing these guys was one of the first experiences for me that blew the doors open on Chrom/Bass/Chord and turned me around to the extreme talent hidden within so much of the vaudeville (to my immature attitude at the time) schtick.

Are there any available recordings of "The Harmonica Jazz Trio"?.

The Great Tomsoni & Company - were featured guest artists at the 1992 SPAH Convention in Chicago, where he brought former trio members, Bob Herndon and Al Fontana on stage to present the music they were best known for throughout 1950's - "The Harmonica Jazz Trio".
