[Harp-L] 3 Days Instruction with Dennis Gruenling and Other Harp Masters

Dennis Gruenling teaches a  3-day blues and jazz workshop at Jon Gindick's
Harmonica Jam Camp, Somerset, New Jersey,

April 7,8,9, 2006.  Intermediate through advanced attendees will go deep
into Chicago blues and swing idioms,

heavy duty tongue-blocking techniques, scale degree based improvisational
theory, 3rd position both diatonic and

chromatic, amplification and band communication, plus expert feedback on
your playing.



 At the same camp,  intermediate to advanced players can also learn harp
maintenance and overblow set-up  from world-renown

harmonica customizer  Richard Sleigh, and overblowing in blues and jazz from
Allen Holmes.



Campers on the beginning to intermediate end of the scale will work with Jon
Gindick, Mark Wilson,

James Day on the all important fundamentals: rich tone, precise bending,
vibrato, basic riffs, engaging

muscle memory, theory I01, engaging musical imagination, and jamming.
