I've read discussion on this forum on bridging channels
on your amp. What is this? What is the advantage?
How is it accomplished?

Thanks,

Charles, I'm not a tech, but here is my basic understanding. You need an amp with more
than one channel and with more than 1 input on at least one of those (my 1941 National is
like this -- an instrument channel with 2 inputs and a microphone channel with 1 input --
each channel has it's own volume control). So, you plug your mike cable into one of the
inputs. Then use an instrument/guitar cable (short is most convenient) to connect the
other input from that channel to the input of the other channel. You can then mix/blend
the two channels by using the two sepatare volume controls. So, appearently, the 2nd
input jack also can be an output. NOTE: I only know from experience that this works on
a couple of amps, I have no idea if it works on all amps -- maybe a more "techy" person
can give a more comprehensive answer.
