I thought it would be interesting to explore some tunes that have a Latin or "Spanish Tinge" to quote Winton Marsalies.
1:    Cherry Pink and Apple Blossum White (Kim Fields covers this with the Fabolous Thunderbirds)


2:    La Cucurachia    The Great Walter Horton did wonders with this tune

3:    Chan Chan        Charlie Musselwhite covers this and more on his Continential Drifters CD (Eliades Ochoa and 
                                   Groupo Patria)

4:    Just a Little Bit    Billy Branch does this as a "Rhumba" and it works really.


Blowing and overblowing on the 6 and 7th holes you get some notes that work with Latin Rhythms.

Anyone have any thoughts?
