RE: [Harp-L] 1957 Princeton feedback question

Dennis, The Narrow Panel Princeton pushes about 4 1/2 watts. You probably played the 5F2 circuit, which has an inductor and a tone control. It's nearly identical to the 5F1 except for the inductor in which the Champ has doubled the capacitance of the first filter cap and left out the inductor. They have great tone for a small amp as you said. stevethunderharp--- On Fri 05/05, dennis moriarty < dmoriarty@xxxxxxxxxx > wrote:From: dennis moriarty [mailto: dmoriarty@xxxxxxxxxx]To: harp-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx: Fri, 5 May 2006 20:15:54 -0400Subject: [Harp-L] 1957 Princeton feedback questionI tried a very expensive mint one today and could only get up to around 3 before feedback independent of the tone level. If tubes were swapped how loud could you get. It had amazing tone. I was playing through a Rod Piazza modded acstatic with the volume on the mike as low as it could be before becoming inaudible. dennis_______________________________________________Harp-L is sponsored by
