[Harp-L] BONFIGLIO-PAPAROZZI Concert Tuesday (Robert Bonfiglio)

Just returned from a long bus ride from the city to New Paltz. The show was incredible! I don't know where to begin. Whatever your forte or preference, you would have heard it. Americana, Blues Classical. Brazilian it was performed. Whatever technique you use or want to use Chromatic, cross harp, overblowing all well executed. This was the harp playing of my dreams!
In the intermission, I had the opportunity to talk to Bob Paparozzi about the "Dan Lynch" Days. It was fun to reminiss for a moment. The other band members were superb. The guitarist held his own.
At times, the violinist sounded like Sugarcane Harris on the 70's John Mayall recordings. Bonfiglio plays great blues harp. Paparozzi did an excellent rendition of Toots "Bluesette" and both harp players were in excellent form on Jobin's Manuel de Carnaval (I know I misspelled that its 11:39 PM EST and I have been up since 5:00 AM)
For me, this benefit was full circle combing two passions. Music and hunger
I am a registered dietitian who works with hunger programs and I thought never the twain shall meet. What a night folks
Thank you Robert and the band
