have XLR connections, but AFAIK they are differently wired than the usual vocal mics.
Could I use them with a wireless system like the AKG?

The 545SD can be configured for standard LoZ XLR. Mine's wired to HiZ, so I can't test it with the Snap-On. I would expect that if the 545SD is set up as standard LoZ, it would work just fine. Makes me curious about re-wiring mine; I'll let you know if I try it.

THe Blues Blaster is a different story. As a HiZ mic, even with an XLR connector, it's not going to work with the LoZ Snap-On XLR. You'd have to adapt it to 1/4" and use the "guitar bug" version. You could set the 545SD up the same way in HiZ with an XLR-to-1/4" female adapter, and use the guitar bug with that as well.

Maybe Rosco has more experience with the HiZ version. All I have is the LoZ XLR version.
