 Yes, you can use the 332 screw on and use the guitar cable from then on. The 585 is a rather clean sounding mic, but it will get a pretty loud overall sound level before feedback.  The best way to use this mic is to take off the grill and put a few dabs of glue to hold the element in place.  You won't damage this element by doing that, trust me. stevethunderharpmics
