1.                Lay out

2.                Play a keyboard or some other instrument with a mutable
pitch-sing some scat?

3.                Ignore the disparity and keep playing-see if they can take
what they dish out

4.                Fix the problem-take the offending instrument and replace
the string (or whatever)
