In situations like that, the best thing you can probably do is turn the volume on the harp down to zero, finish out the gig with a bravura pantomime performance, and collect your money. And then politely decline to play with that band again.

It's a big waste of time to play with people who can't get their act together. Tuning the guitars to a standard reference and showing up sober are pretty basic.
