Re: [Harp-L] Good cheap small amp

I recently purchased a Pignose Hog-20 and overall I am very pleased
with it. For an inexpensive Solid State amp it sounds pretty good.
It has more volume than I need for a practice amp. It is powered by
lead acid batteries so it is a great amp for taking along camping or
for busking. I use a Bottle-O-Blues mic and have a Danelectro Corned
Beef reverb unit that I use with it.

My one complaint is that while it has two 1/4" inputs (one on front
and one on back), they are both on the same channel and cannot be used
at the same time. I e-mailed Pignose support and was told that there
was two inputs in case one ever went bad. Sort of a lame excuse. I
was hoping to use one for an aux input to play jam tracks for
practicing. Oh-well, for the price and features of the amp I cannot
complain too much.
