[Harp-L] Pop Harp

I'd suggest Norton Buffalo.
His break on "Runaway" is inventive, musical, tasteful, soulful, and has tone to the bone.
He laid the track under extreme pressure, had the flu, and the producers had already rejected
a sax line by Tom Scott...but Buffalo figured it out and nailed it.
It's considered one of the better pop-rock harp breaks to date.

He's also done considerable time with Steve MIller and others in the pop/rock field,
and his solo albums were every bit as seminal in their influence as Lee Oskar's work with War and as a solo artist.
