Re: [Harp-L] Chromatic slide is sticking

Hi Michael,

If you don't have the time to open the mouthpiece and clean lightly buff
the slide, here's a "quick Fix" that works for me.

hold the Chrom under the faucet (vertically) with the Button facing you,
then very lightly allow a few drops of tap water drop into the small opening
near the spring.....not TOO much, then work your slide.

Then, pick up a very small "spray or spritz" bottle from the drug store and
fill it with tap water, keep this in your bag so at the session or gig you
can spritz that same area of the slide before you play, it will keep the
slide fairly smooth and quiet.....good luck!

hope this helps,
best, Rob Paparozzi

anyone have any quick fixes that they KNOW work?
