[Harp-L] My,,er,,"final" statement on wooden cutting boards

I'm willing to assume that the article is true, and the study well done, at least in part, for the moment, until further study. I'm assuming that the primary factor in the alleged safety of wooden cutting boards over plastic seems to be the inherent natural ability of wood to absord and somehow, at least in part, destroy the offending bacteria, where the plastic does not have this ability, but leaves the bacteria unscathed, unless ADEQUATELY cleaned and removed. I still believe the cleaning process itself to be in question, due to the use of sponges rather than brushes as the default tool used to perform the cleaning.

Oh well,,

Back to harmonica. Wood or plastic. I like plastic.
