Last month Jason Ricci took  time off from his hectic touring schedule to 
record his  Eclecto Groove Records debut at the  House Of Blues recording studio 
in Los Angeles,  CA. The sessions produced by Grammy Award  winning producer 
John Porter  feature Jason's eclectic musical fusion that he calls "...half 
rock...half  blues...all EVIL!" Finishing a whole two days ahead of schedule, the 
band  consisting of Shawn Starsky on  guitar, Todd "Buck Weed"  Edmunds on 
bass, and Ron  Sutton on drums, sounded truly inspired as they played  songs 
that had been thoroughly road tested during their constant and  exhaustive 
performances out on the road. Disappointed with previous  attempts at capturing his 
own distinct and unique sound on disc, Jason  recently and enthusiastically 
remarked "...the record rules, Delta Groove  rules, John Porter rules!" Look for 
Jason  Ricci & New Blood's worldwide debut release coming  this Fall.
