I recommend "Into the West" by Annie Lennox.  It's the closing song in
Return of the King,  Peter Jackson's Lord of The Rings finally. It
does happen to be a bit sad, but in a beautifull way. It also has a
sea theme.

Another idea would be Van Morison's "Into the Mystic" which is a bit
more hopefull and perhaps more familiar, and also has to do with the
sea.
