[Harp-L] Reed embossing with a penny, Richard's way

I emboss the reed slots with a penny, after which I tune and gap.

Richard, I am LMAO. To make my embosser, I took an old reedplate, tinsnipped some brass off of it, forged it, beat it into the rough shape I wanted, then tempered it so it would be just a smidge harder than the brass on the slots. Then I filed into a smoother shape and to get rid of the hammer marks.

Just use A PENNY! Why didn't I think of that?@? At least I made a plinker on the non-embossing end, it's not quite so embarassing. It's a nice-looking tool, but not as easy to make as just getting change out of my pocket.
