that's a good point.  when i saw him last fall, it was with a local band
backing him, and there were none of the aforementioned issues.  still,
the expected last set didn't happen, as after the break Cotton was too
tired to return.  but that was fine.  after all, he's getting up there in age,
and we were lucky to see him at all.
