[Harp-L] Clones

Some posts refer to "clones", typically the likes of Little Walter or Stevie Wonder. This is a never-ending discussion. In my opinion playing note for note like a master is good practice. Playing with that methodology can lead to an exceptional tone and phrasing. Case in point as an example is Bharath and the Rhythm Kings who are true to the Chess/Chicago sound. They are not a clone in the sense of the word but instead carry the genre forward with creativity. As do many musicians inspired by Little Walter, Stevie Wonder and numerous other musicians.
