OK, you've got the one to beat now-that CD is in print with Sonny Terry on it.
Who can top Ken? This may be tough.

If the National Life and Casualty Company, owner of WSM and the Grand Ol' Opry, made any recorded transcriptions of DeFord Bailey back in the 1920's, we'd be edging in on way early.


However, I have never, ever heard talk of recorded transcriptions of the Opry from that era.
