[Harp-L] Re: Gus

Jimi Hendrix recorded many hours of jamming with a mediocre harp player credited only as "Don".
Don wasn't a terrible harp player he was merely mediocre, but Don's greatest flaw was that he just
didn't know when to shut up. Don played right over some of Jimi's best solos on "Country Blues"
and "Once I Had A Woman". But thankfully, Jimi had this uncanny knack for being seemingly
oblivious to Don's incessant noodling. Don should not be confused with Paul Caruso, a pretty
good harp player who recorded with Jimi on "My Friend" and "Bright Lights, Big City".

Anyway I nominate the notorious "Don" as the new "Gus".
