I'll admit it - I used to "Gus" during my formative years. However, I "Guss'ed" quietly, only irritating those right next to me.

It IS a stage harp players go through.
It was 1983. A group was playing at the 'Decade' (in Pittsburgh). They were called 'Savoy Brown'. The (average) harp player was very unfriendly, rude, snipy, when I tried to talk to him. So I Gussed their entire second set. The one bartender gave me a hard time, so I called the fire marshalls and they arrived and cited the club for having too many people in the place. The allowed limit was 260 and they had 306. I guess a few people had to leave. I felt really good on the drive home.
