[Harp-L] old crow medicine show

I looks to me that the band, Old Crow Medicine Show
(with Ketch Secor on harmonica) is opening up the
young masses (a bit) to harmonica. They play a
combination of old string band music, early blues, and
jug band songs -- kinda raw and sometimes octaned up.
Whenever my band plays "Wagon Wheel," the dance floor
fills up with 20 somethings! (That just happened
again tonight which is why I thought to post this.)
So I guess OCMS is getting pretty darn popular among
that age group, and the harmonica is featured pretty
heavily in that band. So, young ears are getting a
feel for the sound. Harp is featured pretty well in
our band, and the kids seem to dig it -- maybe it's a
bit familiar.
Any fans of OCMS and Secor on the list? (They have
been on Prairie Home Companion a few times.)
