If you can't find one of the original fantastic Hot Rod mics, you can find or have one built that is comparable. Take a JT-30, or any favorite shell, add a decent crystal or ceramic element, good rubber gasket, old style connector, and most important a 5Meg volume pot. There, you got yer hot rod.
