Re: [Harp-L] re: Blues in Nurnburg (Nuernberg)

When I'm in a foreign place, I sometimes look for the familiar. People of
like mind and similar interests are a comfort for a strange person in a
strange land. I have other things besides music to help me find comfort
when I am in unfamiliar surroundings, but finding local color is not
something I would normally ask about on a music forum before travelling.

BTW there is a pretty active Bluegrass community in Japan. When I travel to
Japan, I might ask about that beforehand on the BG forums. It would be nice
to meet some new people with similar interests when I make a trip to Japan.
They certainly are able to help me find appropriate local culture and avoid
trouble. Bluegrass is not the only reason for which I travel to Japan, DOH!

I certain that The Blues isn't the main reason for travel to Germany either.

Nuff said.
