Materials: I agree, from what you've said in the past, Vern, about the comb material. But while covers of the same profile, but in different materials, don't affect tone, I've noticed that there is a metallic ring with my Super 64, seeming to emanate from the covers (I can feel it in my hands) that is missing in my CX 12s (I can feel that harmonica vibrating, too).

That is indeed a beautiful harp with many desirable features. However, I don't believe the claims about the effects on sound of the materials of the covers and comb.
