[Harp-L] Levy, Bonfiglio, Paparozzi. Piazza and Alters (Harmonica Seminar)

No, this is NOT a new Jewish/Italian Law Firm,-) But it is our contention that a HARMONICA can be a better "Mouthpiece" than a Lawyer!,-)

I'm sending this out to see if there would be enough interest (NO formalized arrangements have been made)...but here is our proposed format so far.
*(Coming out of the Summer this TIME FRAME may or may NOT work....so depending on the response we may have to look at other dates or even locations.)

I'm working with Dennis "Doc" Alters on a possible 3 Day Harmonica Seminar:Sept 17,18 & 19 2007
Mon Tues Wed in Las Vegas. The location we have in mind is Boulder Station Casino

(Rod Piazza will perform on Wed. Night at Santa Fe Station & Casino on 9/19 and at Boulder Station on 9/20 with his band The Mighty Flyers.)

The Cost would be $499 for the Seminar (and attendees would take care of their own hotel (approx $49 per night) ,food, travel etc) The Seminars would be 9-5 each day with an organized "Hands on Jam" after Dinner. I really believe the interaction of an ecclectic mix, will make for a serious "Cross Learning" experience that each player can bring back to their specific style of playing. We have alot of gound to be covered each day so were gonna call the seminar "Coverin' all the Bases"

We will keep this classroom size, so we will only be able to accomodate about 20-30 players max. The only pre requisite is that you are NOT a complete beginner.

The Instructors:

Howard Levy (Diatonic as a Chromatic instrument)
Robert Bonfiglio (Classical Chromatic)
Rod Piazza (Blues Diatonic & Chromatic)
Rob Paparozzi (Jazz, Pop, Funk & Session Style Diatonic & Chromatic & Frontman/Vocal Techniques)
Dennis "Doc" Alters (Diatonic, Jam Coordinator, Teacher)

please contac me OFFLIST if interested in signing up...please bear with me in getting back as I will in Europe from 7/19 to 8/6, but will be on my laptop.
"Coverin' all the Bases" a Harmonica retreat in the Desert...Gamblin' at your own Risk!

PS...BTW, The SPAH lineup looks AWESOME!!! Sorry I'll miss it this year and hi to all and have a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

all the best,
Rob Paparozzi
