I have a green bullet and like the sounds
from the low register most. What type of mikes
get the best overall sound.

The sound I am looking for
 is the Chicago type sound.

I bought a Electro Harmonix 12AY7
to replace the tube that comes with a new
Fender Champ 600 amp I just bought.

I am doing this to increase volume
with less feedback.

Is it common practice to change these tubes,
also are there any adverse effects with the
sound seeing as you are straying from
the stock Fender components/tubes.

I wonder what the good and what the bad is here?
I just purchased from Hoffman yesterday.

Thanks

Kevin

  Kevin,
I sure like the mic I got from Steve Warner at Thunderharpmics(dot)com.
  It has bottom.
