[Harp-L] Harp-L] Howling Wolf lodge ring

Howiin' Wolf a Mason? A quick check found this: (from http://freemasonry.bcy.ca/biography/burnett_c/burnett_c.html )

(If true does this mean he might be a tool of the illuminati! Perhaps the Blues is indeed the Devil's music! Aaaagh! Yikes!! )

Chester Arthur Burnett

June 10, 1910 - January 10, 1976
Better known as Howlin' Wolf, Chester Burnett was an influential blues singer, songwriter, guitarist and harmonica player.
Although his masonic membership is unconfirmed, a photograph of Burnett wearing a masonic ring, and the following correspondence, is worthy of note.
"Wolf was an active member of the Masons in Chicago and perhaps even earlier in the South. I have been told that many Chicago bluesmen were active in the Masons, especially in the 50s and 60s, including Sunnyland Slim and Magic Slim among others. Even one of the several Wolf imitators, Lil' Howlin' Wolf (Jessie Sanders), is an active Mason and often wears a belt with a Masonic buckle. He was in the Masons in Chicago with Howlin' Wolf."

I was browsing through some CDs, picked up a Howling Wolf to look at it.
Noticed a masonic ring on his finger. Thought I'd pass that on to traveling men on
