I suppose Dennis used his Kinder AFB+(anti-feedback).... he does this when he has to use another amp.
That makes most amps sound like a Harpking! I have a Harpking and a AFB+ and love the sound.
But Sonny jr. amps also have a very,very nice sound.
What nobody mentioned so far is the fact that Dennis gets a lot of his tone through his very controlled way of cupping.
I heard him once imitate a leslie sound by opening and closing his hands very little and very fast ..
His fat sound is him using a crystal element and his superb cupping...
