Re: [Harp-L] question about seydel harps

I just realized I wrote #2 and #1 when the actual driver size is #0 for the cover plates and a #1 for the reed plates. Sorry for the mistake. The Pozi's only come in a 0 and 1. The driver I really like at Wiha Tools is the 262 series.

I'm a new Seydel dealer. The driver is a Pozi driver # 2 for the cover plates and I've found that a # 1 works for the reed plate screws. You can buy them from Wiha Tools www.wihatools.com navigate down the left column and search in the "Screwdriver Tip Styles". By the way the #1 is the same driver used for the Hohner MS series.

Hi
I recently bought a few Seydel diatonic harps , and I am so far VERY pleased with them. I have one problem however, and maybe someone on this list can help me out. I cannot find the right screwdriver to remove the coverplates (for gapping and such) - I have tried several different sizes of phillips -head screwdrivers , as well as regular (straight) headed ones, and nothing works. (I have one 1847, one "Solist pro" and one "Black favorite", and have the same problem with all three) - any suggestions?
Thanks!
