[Harp-L] Tuner suggestion (was Cover Plates)



I recommend the V-SAM by Peterson. More expensive but
worth it. Peterson are famous for their strobe tuners
and this is their virtual equivalent.

My reasoning is that if you're confident enough to
tune by ear then your probably already as accurate as
the cheap tuners. If, on the other hand, you are
reliant on a piece of electronic gear to give you
feedback then you might as well do it properly.
Petersons are ten times more accurate than the LED
type tuners. They also offer various preset
temperaments that you can tune to.

Check e-bay as they do turn up semi regular basis.
