The H4 also has phantom powered inputs for external mics, which the H2 doesn't have.  If you're planning to record with external condenser mics, which you might if, say, you were recording a performance in a good-sounding room for possible commercial release, that's a useful feature.

The H4 can also function as a decent-quality computer USB audio interface.  Does
the H2?  That feature alone is worth $125, which is the least it would cost you to buy a standalone computer USB audio interface with stereo phantom-powered mic inputs.
