I am DEFINITELY your fan of the bizzaro Mick. I always placed  
Darrin's version right behind Jimmy Smith's version on this tune.  
Feeling that Darrin was basically a black man trapped in a white  
man's (frail) body. (check his moves). Back in those days, (as I know  
you remember), it was common for record companies to have white  
performers do covers on black performers tunes. Darrin was one of  
those who helped smear the lines of distinction. I was never a big  
fan of his, but appreciated what he did Thanks so very much for  
finding this. It brought back old times.

Speaking of the Czecz brothers, Cadillac records, and movies in  
general. I remember watching the Darrin movie. I thought they made  
Darrin out to be a dip-sh*t. Maybe he was. Maybe Little Walter was.  
He!!. Maybe 'I' am. But I think the movies dip too MUCH sh*t. Ergo: I  
watch them with a mouthful of Kosher salt.

P.s. he was a decent piano player and vibes are percussion BUT lain  
out the same. No wonder he switched to them rather quickly.
