I didn't see a link in the first email. I'm thinking it is a delay/ 
echo pedal. What I'm wondering is whether there was some pitch  
modulation in there, too. Electro Harmonix has pedals with both. I'd  
side with it being an analog delay, but that could be because I seem  
to be hooked on analog effects. I think I could get a similar sound  
from my Skreddy Echo pedal.
