Re: [Harp-L] harmonica for dummies

A lot of this could be time line driven - logical format, books, DVD's,
CD's, internet, etc are all recent upgrades in how one shares knowledge. A lot of
us from the earlier times had available to us only playing, listening,
intuitively, etc, until Tony Glover's book came out.

Would you believe that to learn a tune or solo, we had to actually pick up
the arm of a record turntable again and again, returning it to earlier
"grooves" in the record to play sections over and over?

or

B. by playing and listening, more intuitively or by ear?
