I'm talking about the notes he's hitting on an "A" harp in 1st position, around 2:28 minutes into the clip.


What kind of bends are these. Simple blow bends? draw bends? overblows?

It seems that rather than spend a lot of time "up there", most players, even the better ones, just make "excursions" for the sake of having done so, once or twice during the song.

Then there's Jimmy Reed.

Maybe I should just ignore the low notes for a while, and let those "lonely notes" up the scale have some of my attention.
