Absolutely, though I really believe that people who are fans are so for
three reasons - the music, of course, but at least for me, the
band's performance is far more important in making fans - not to make an
even comparison, but who would like the Dead or Phish based on studio
recordings - you gotta see a show, and third, and perhaps most importantly,
is the man himself in how enthusiastic, generous, and accessible Jason is.
If he was an aloof jerk, I imagine his following would be much smaller.
