[Harp-L] Re: Mic element ebay beware

There is a person, Tool and Tinker, selling 99G86 elements out of Wollensack
mics he has many of. Look at the description, I did not look closely enough
and took the burn, so just watching out for you guys. They are duds, only 600
ohms and nothing you can do about it. Just a heads up as I know he has a lot
of them. If I get enough shells I may sell some of my mics to the open
market. I will guarantee them to be the hottest mic possible. Everyone says, no
harp player will sell his best elements, trust me, after doing this for this
many years, I have my killers and these rank equal to the best I have. I pay top
dollar, nice Turner shells with the indented V/C, so each notch can lock in,
female jack in belly of the mic. Great fit in your hands. I honestly had my
doubts about the crystal mic guy from our first conversation, as he did not
know what an R-7 was, so maybe we all saved some money. Good crystals are just
too hard to find, all of those who bought my best Brush crystals I am
jealous as I don't own one good crystal. I wont take a chance on ebay.
