[Harp-L] Great Field Recorder

Hi Folks, 

 

I just got a really nice field recorder and I wanted to mention it here.  I
bought a Roland Ederol R-09 digital recorder on EBay and tried it out with a
band I played with last night.  I can't believe how good a recorder this is.
This was an outside gig at a riverside club.  I placed the unit (a little
larger than a cigarette pack) on a pick nick table and ended up with a great
recording which I can download as an MP3, or a wav, or I can plug it into my
stereo and listen to it like it's an I pod.  I've never been able to share
my playing with this list before because of my computer's limitations.  Now
it's my hope to be able to start posting some of my stuff on some kind of
site and you all will be able to hear my playing.  I don't know why I didn't
get one of these before.
