Dennis, I loved the original MK's also. I had a few clunkers but most played well and loud!
As far as a good OTC diatonic that plays like a custom, look out for Brad Harrison. He will have a booth at SPAH this year with four prototypes of his new line of harps. You may have seen a picture of Brad's prototype. That is only the beginning. This will manufactured from the inside out with new technology & engineering by a man who know's what it takes to make a harmonica play the way we harmonica musicians deserve to have our instrument play.
This is not another slap some new cover plates on the same old harp marketing ploy.
Brad just won a prestigious award for invention and innovation for this harmonica. The award was given by entrepreneurs and inventors, not harmonica players. I feel that the 2nd award is coming...
I love Brad's harps made from Hohner stock, I for one can't wait.Michael Peloquin http://www.harpsax.comhttp://www.myspace.com/harpsax
