RE: [Harp-L] Must Be Jelly Correction (Was Chrometta)

You may be right, now that I think about it. It's been a while...

I know that I was reading about WC's love for the Chrometta in an
"article" that was written when Blowin' Like Hell came out. I may have
gotten the HANDY-AWARD :o) song and the "Chrometta song" mixed up. I
apologize for that. I usually try not to bear false witness on Harp-L.

So, at least one song on BLH is played on a Chrometta...can anyone name
it... (Boy, now this oughtta stir up the cover plate/comb material
debate again!)

I don't have the recording with me, but I'm almost positive that William
Clarke doesn't play any chromatic on "Must Be Jelly." The song's in D
with a C harp in 3rd on the first solo and a G harp in 2nd on the solo
that ends the song. At least that's how it is on the version from the
Blowin' Like Hell album.
