Funny you should ask. I actually won the World Championship in Trossingen in 1997 with a pinched, whiny sound.
I don't know how I do it, but I feel lucky that I can.
The sound of harmonica and all musical instruments annoy me and hurt my ears but I love music so much that I put up with it.
