Willie Dixon inspired many  bands of the 60s' such as The Stones ,Animals , Doors etc. with his honest songs about everyday life. " The blues is the truth ," said Willie , and  the truth don't lie. I am grateful that these bands covered the tunes by  Dixon, Morganfield, Burnett, Williamson. the  three Kings as well as the pre-war folks such as Memphis Minnie, who wrote 'When the levee breaks '. They brought it on home for me.
