Subject: [Harp-L] Ricci Harp Donation Drive/ Pawz 4 Music

Jon: it's a great site and I like the idea...Jason's always helping out and
I'd like to do my bit to help too where needed.. was all set to click on the
'buy a harp'...but then wasn't sure if those are the harps which get donated
back to the kids..since it mentioned 'includes shipping and handling'?
$6.00 is extremely reasonable for me to maybe purchase a few of those to have
Jason/you/whomever donate them...it seemed the harps would come to me, rather
than be donated...is there a way to do that?

thx,
Elizabeth

Subject: [Harp-L] Ricci Harp Donation Drive

I don't do this often, but it's time to put on my publicist hat... all for a
good cause! Jason Ricci & New Blood are playing this Friday night at Zydeco
in Birmingham, Alabama. We are cooperating with a non-profit group called
Paws 4 Music to set up a donation drive at the show. This charity provides
musical instruments and lessons for children to get them interested in
music. Learn more about them at: http://www.pawzformusic.com/index2.htm

We're asking people to donate a NEW harmonica or just cash to help buy
harmonicas for kids. A local Guitar Center store has donated a Golden
Melody that will be signed by Jason and given as a prize to one lucky
donor. I wanted to make sure Harp-L got the word since many of you are so
generous, and hopefully some of you in the Birmingham area will be able to
attend the show.

This is all optional, of course -- you are welcome to just come to the show
and enjoy it without worrying about a donation. The show starts at 10:00pm
and costs $10 at the door. More info at www.zydecobirmingham.com and
www.jasonricci.com. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at
the address below.
