This statement was in regards to the search via amps/mics for a suitable  
electric tone. (That is what this thread is about - not acoustic tone).
 
What makes one happy this year might change next year - hence, a new amp, a  
different mic, etc.

Ok it's common sense to say that we're all beginners, that  learning  
how to be a musician (not particularly a harmonica player)  is always  
an ongoing process...

BUT saying that things are  changing regarding the tone of someone is  
purely  ridiculous
