[Harp-L] Making a fool of myself in public

This week I made an express trip to DC for a conference on broadband policy. The conference organiser is a wonderful guy and music lover who always books top-notch musicians to entertain and destress the attendees in between sessions. This year, the band was the John Jorgenson Quintet (www.johnjorgenson.com) and since I was a speaker at the conference, the organiser asked me to sit in with the band after my speech was done. Let me tell you, I was more stressed out by the playing than I was by the speech...

Anyway, I played Minor Swing, and here it is for you to see, warts and all: http://www.musicalramblings.com/2009/04/minor-swing-aka-making-a-fool-of-myself-in-public.html

Still, I enjoyed myself, and that's what counts the most to me. The musicians were very cool to let me play with them and I really wish I had guys as good and as patient as this to play with...

Anyway, in order to add useful to entertaining (hopefully) I've added tabs on the video as Youtube subtitles (you may have to toggle them on in the lower right corner of the youtube video). As always, do as i say, not as I do ;-)
