I think Chris is saying he'd prefer a specific pedal for an effect rather
than one box with several built-ins. 
  The RP series gives you lots of amps, cabinets and different types of
choruses, delays and such whereas a more traditional "stomp box" might give
you (for instance) delay alone. 
Since I'm scarce beyond the !!WOW!! Stage as I listen to all this, I don't
consider myself as qualified to pass judgment either way.

Isn't the Digitech a 'real pedal' though? I don't understand. Aren't they
all just using electronics chips to modify sound waves? What's the
