The Hohner Comet octave harmonicas are available in 16-and 20-holes. On the  
Comet double reed diatonics,
Hohner classifies a "hole" as one vertical pair of reeds. A "cell" is one  
reed chamber.
 
The Comet #2503 has 16 holes (32 reeds). It's note setup follows. The Large  
letters are blow notes, the small letters are draw notes. The bottom row of  
"cells" is the same as the top row:
 
      Hole:  1  2    3   4   5   6   7    8  9  10 11  12 13 14  15  16
 Top row: |E |g  |G  |b  |C  |d   |E  |f  |G |a  |C  | b  |E | d  |G   | f  | 
(key of C harp (also available in G).
 
The Comet #2504 has 20 holes (40 reeds):
