I've enjoyed the thread about country western-

That's being a band mate and that's how I see myself
when I play,  as far as "the trial and error" for me I listen
to the other players and get ideas of what to play.

Wasn't that Howard Levy with Bela Fleck?- they
also took bluegrass in a new direction.
